How Shippstream uses and protects your information
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use Shippstream.
Information we collect
We collect account information you provide directly, such as your email address, username, display name, avatar, referral code, and the content you choose to ship. We also store profile settings, streak data, shipping history, billing status, and other account attributes needed to operate the product.
How we use it
We use your information to authenticate you, personalize your account, display your public profile, calculate streaks and builder scores, deliver feeds and analytics, process subscriptions, and keep the platform secure and reliable. Public fields are shown to other users so the service can function as a transparent shipping network.
Sharing and public visibility
Your public ships, profile name, avatar, streak, and related public metrics may be visible to other users and visitors. We use Stripe to process payments, so billing data is handled by Stripe according to its own policies. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share private account information except where required to run the service, process payments, comply with law, or protect the platform.
Retention and security
We keep account data as long as your account remains active or as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. We use administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect account data, but no system is completely secure.
Your choices
You can update your profile, remove ships, adjust account settings, and manage billing from within the app. If you need help with account deletion, data access, or a privacy question, contact support through the app or the support channel listed in product help when available.
